Responsibilities/Duties:
- Communications and Problem solving: Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors and internal employees, facilitating clear and effective communication to address and resolve carrier/customer related delays or customer appointment pushups/push outs, appointment cancellations and working with tracking team to address vendor questions regarding driver arrivals
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule pick and delivery appointments for various customer and locations using a variety of scheduling methods while ensuring customer satisfaction and logistical efficiency
- Organizational and Prioritization: Evaluate and prioritize scheduling based on customer expectations and internal company scheduling expectations while completing daily tasks
- Compliance and Audit: Review customer schedules for potential disruptions such as holiday closures and update internal log while also working with external planners and account advisors for shipment solutions
